Candidate Bill of Rights

legalQuest is committed to raising the bar for the legal staffing industry by maintaining a consistently superior standard of performance, by treating both our clients and candidates with the utmost respect at every stage of the placement process, by always acting with integrity, and by settling for no less than 100% client and candidate satisfaction. Our client companies and the candidates we place with them should expect no less from us. legalQuest’s Candidate Bill of Rights reflects the specific ways in which our service, and that of any other legal staffing agency that you work with, should reflect these core values of respect, integrity, and perfectionism.

You have the right to have your time valued. Whether you are seek a temporary assignment or a direct-hire placement, your placement specialist should only suggest positions that he or she reasonably believes are worth pursuing based upon thorough consideration of your objectives, interests, and credentials.

You have the right to have your confidentiality maintained. A placement specialist should always obtain your prior approval before sharing your credentials with a client. If you wish to explore the job market while keeping your search confidential, your placement specialist should investigate the market on your behalf with the utmost discretion.

You have the right to have your workplace preferences and career aspirations taken seriously. Your placement specialist should only present positions to you that are consistent with your stated professional goals and work preferences. This is true even if he or she believes that a particular opportunity would be suitable for most professionals in your current position, or that your skill set matches the needs of a particular client for whom he or she is presently seeking candidates.
