Client Bill of Rights Cont.

You have the right to know that your staffing specialist is dedicated to 100% client and candidate satisfaction. Your staffing expert should not merely be committed to making placements, but to making placements that will be successful in the long term. Any staffing recommendation that he or she makes should take into account the goals, requirements and preferences of both client and candidate, and the specific advantages that each party can offer the other.

You have the right to know that your staffing specialist is using all available resources to find you the right candidate. Job announcements -- posted by your staffing agency on its own website, other employment sites, and in professional publications – should comprise only one element in your agency’s overall recruitment strategy. Once the announcement is posted, your agency should not simply wait for the right candidate to respond. This leaves large segments of the professional community untapped. Your staffing expert should instead be proactive: making cold calls, emailing candidates individually, and leveraging word-of-mouth networks to spark interest in your opportunity, even among those not already seeking a new position.
